I've seen these listed on amazon for insane prices too ($50 or $60) Right now though they are reasonable at $12.00 per set of 2 (this is the same price walmart charges minus the tax) plus they are having a buy 3 get 4 sale right now! I am paying $4.50 per mat or $9.00 for the set (I've just purchased 20 sets) This price is better then any I've seen anywhere online and considering Joann and Michaels won't accept 40% coupons for them it's better then any price I've found elsewhere. Please comment/respond to my review if you can find a better deal or if amazon is offering a better special or base price :-)

Why is the mat $63.00? they usually run no more than $16. I would not buy this.

This is a steal! As in, you are being robbed if you buy these mats at this price! These sell at craft stores for around $15 for two. Order online from JoAnns or Hobby Lobby. Save your money for more cartridges. I just can't believe the price!

$49.99 is a crazy high price for these mats. Mats are good, price is too high

The cutting mat was a little too sticky when new. It was hard to get smaller cut pieces off without tearing. It did not stay tacky as long as I thought it should last, but I may not be using it correctly. Hopefully, as I use the machine more, it will work more effectively for me.

Cricut Spatula Tool Cricut Spatula Tool

Reviews

This is a must have for any Cricut owner. This does the job very well. I would prefer for it to be narrower, but as is, it works for my needs.

I agree with another reviewer who stated this should be included with the Cricut. It is a necessary tool and prevents tears, particularly when cutting intricate shapes. It is also awesome for scooping up little cutouts that would otherwise be so stuck to the mat they'd be mangled. When I am cutting, I get annoyed trying to get cutouts off the mat without this tool- usually resorting to bending the mat and trying to catch an edge with a fingernail. While I think this is a necessary cricut accessory, I also appreciate that it is sold seperately as I have purchased several. When friends come to craft or my kids use the Cricut with me, it is nice to have several on hand. The spatula functions very well and the original one I bought still looks and works like new even after a couple years of use and abuse. This is not a great tool to clean leftover scraps off the mats, however. It is time consuming to pick individual pieces off the mat and cricut makes a triangular scraper tool that is much better for getting the little bits left behind. Yes, Cricut is waging a war of attrition against the bank accounts of their loyal customers- but I've come to accept that its par for the course in the scrapbooking/crafting industry. Still, I do love my Cricut as it allows me to take my projects to a whole other level and I get a ton of use and satisfaction out of it making things for my kids classes, cards, invitations. If you have made the investment in a Cricut, it seems like it is more than worthwhile to drop a few dollars here and there for accessories that improve functionality and efficiency. This is a must have tool if you have a cricut.

This is a must have for any Cricut owner! It helps separate the paper from the tacky cutting mat without damaging what you just cut. But I also use it for other crafts...

I got this as a gift with my new Cricut, someone told my husband it was a must have and I agree. It makes removing my creations much easier. Maybe a kitchen tool could be used but this is worth it.

If you use a Cricut machine, you need the spatula. ProvoCraft should include it with the machine, as everyone needs one. It's well made, and it is essential.

Cricut 29-0002 Replacement Cutting Blades for Cricut Cutting Machines Cricut 29-0002 Replacement Cutting Blades for Cricut Cutting Machines

Reviews

Not sure if it's just in my head, but the sharpness of the replacement blade seems duller than the original blade that came with the machine???!? I've debated getting the deep blade to replace the standard (that has more settings - this only goes up to 6). Still debating because I'm not impressed with the replacement blades - i do have the deep cutting blade which is great for thicker items like felt, and foam. For the price, I'd expect more than 2 - I've just replaced my blade after having the machine for 2 months (I'm not a scrap-booker), I can't imagine how often a scrap-booker will go through a blade. Amazon has great prices for them - it's been hard using the store coupons for the Cricut accessories. So far only Hobby Lobby will accept them. Michael's refuses to because it violates their agreement with Cricut. You HAVE to use their blades to make your cricut work - so the real debate would be where to buy them, and how to get them at the best price - keep checking out Amazon, I've noticed the pricing has fluctuated in the last 2 months by a few dollars.

As my title states, this product is necessary to buy when you own a Cricut. I use my Cricut a lot so I use many of these blades. I will continue to buy my blades from Amazon because they are priced well and I do not have to pay shipping.

The product works great -- arrived on-time, as promised. I am very pleased & will definitely order this type of product from Amazon again.

One could easily think that they are supposed to get 3-10 sets of these blades based on the original price. Someone either messed up with the price, or more likely they are trying to get people to buy these under false pretenses and misleading advertising.

It is full of lots of fun new images that I could hardly wait to cut. My son loves all the vehicles on it!! Worth the money for any scrapper with kids. You will use it often.

Fiskars 9911 Spring Action 8-Inch Multi-Purpose Scissors Fiskars 9911 Spring Action 8-Inch Multi-Purpose Scissors

Reviews

I bought a pair for my Mother and a pair for our home. These are really great scissors. The design makes them so easy to use. Cutting Christmas wrapping paper was a breeze! LOVE 'EM!

These scissors work great. They are sharp and very easy to operate when they are in the open position. There is a saftey lock on them that can be a little difficult unlatching. My Mother has problems with her hands and this was the only drawback to them. But other than that I myself found they work nice and I actually perferred them to the traditional style scissors for cutting.

The Fiskars 9911 model pictured with this listing is the older version of these same scissors -- which is the reason I chose to purchase them here. However, it appears that Fiskars no longer produces the version pictured. They new model has been redesigned to be more "ergonomic" I suppose... but the slide lock mechanism on the new models isn't located in the same spot which makes it slightly less convenient for me large hands. Also, the lock on the new model tends to slip forward when cutting and hinders the range of the scissors and will occasionally slip back and let the scissors open when they are in my holster. All in all I have always been happy with the Fiskars scissors -- the blades stay sharp and the cutting action is smooth -- but as with some other products in the past (think "New Coke") the older model is superior to the newer.

Open Easy As Stated Not real great for very controlled cutting IMO Guess best used for cutting straight lines and heavy items like card board? Find my self grabbing my old standby regular scissors a lot of times. RagenRat

I got the small shears last year and loved them but they were not good for cutting loarge pieces. I got 2 pairs of these and they have replaced by conventional scissors in my heart. No pain in those knuckles and a nice loose hand hold

I purchased these for my Mom for Christmas. When they arrived, I tried them and ordered her another pair with a 8" blade and ordered a pair for my self! I Love them and so does she!

These scissors are amazing! They are really sharp and get into small spaces. Great for crafting. They lock which is a great feature not only for myself but for little hands!

If you have precision cutting that you need to do, these scissors are the perfect choice. You do need to be careful, though, as they are extremely sharp and are not safe for children to use. You can lock them as well to prevent accidents and Fiskars provides replacement springs if one is ever needed. I used my scissors so much that the spring finally wore out; I couldn't find a replacment and emailed Fiskars. They send several to me free of charge with a letter thanking me for my support of their products.

I have broken the thumb of my dominant hand and these are a godsend. I can cut anything without needing to ask for help or competely mangling whatever I am cutting.

These must be the best little sissors for serious crafters around. They lock so you don't risk them being left open for little (or your own) fingers to get sliced on and it helps them to store compactly as well. They are sharp and get around tight spots easily.

Reviews

This blade for the X-Acto knife has been an indispensable tool for many years at home and work for me. For doing artwork or fine details on projects this blade is a must have tool. It's good to know I can get a large pack (15) blades from Amazon Prime in two days when I run out. Amazon Prime is a great thing to have for me since I'm disabled and don't get to stores much and can get things quickly.

These are sharp and cost a lot. Buy the largest quantity that you can, comes up a lot cheaper per blade. Many times you can get away with single edge razor blades, without the comfortable handle.

The Journey Continues with Tim Holtz The Journey Continues with Tim Holtz

Reviews

Wow...That's the only word to describe this DVD. Lots of wonderful projects. Tons of ideas and inspiration. It's great to be able to take a class from such an expert even when you live too far to be there in person. He is easy to understand and explains things very clearly. The menu on the DVD could be better but that's the only negative thing I could say about it.

There will be many new inks and tools in your future after watching this DVD. Many fun and beautiful projects are presented in detail. Easy to follow insstructions.

***** I wondered how any DVD could match Tim Holtz's first PageSage DVD "An Altered Journey". Well this one does! It is over two and half hours of ideas and techniques that are creative, innovative, and inspiring. You don't need to have watched the first DVD to appreciate this one. In addition, compared to his first DVD, this one has more information about his materials and usage. Both DVDs complement each other. The first gave me ideas and the second helped me to understand so much more. The DVD includes new ideas for distressing, distressing with embossing powders, melting pot distressing, creating custom molds, glazed mosaics made with shrink wrap, creating custom stamp pads for custom correspondence, creating the look of dichroic glass using embossing powders, and encaustic collage with beeswax. It also includes many, many more ideas for using alcohol inks! Some ideas were more esoteric and required some expensive supplies, but they were still inspirational, like fireless raku. Like other PageSage DVDs, there is a great gallery feature that includes comments on the projects and shows variations. Extras include tips from projects (this is a compilation of all the tips from all the projects arranged in an index-like fashion---cool!), hilarious bloopers, and all sources for supplies. What a value for the money, a fantastic class that can and will be watched over and over and over again! Highly recommended. *****

I learned a lot from this DVD, and found it inspiring. I was recuperating from foot surgery, so could only sit with my foot elevated. This DVD not only helped pass the time, but provided me with ideas and motivation for when I could get back to my crafting!

Hi, My wife loved them unfortunately, she wished they were subtitled in French. I speak english, I could translate most of the projects easily but whenever she needs to watch them on her own, then she has difficulties even if the images show most of the activities breakdown. Still she did really enjoyed them very much. Thanks Tim

Ranger Tim Holtz DVD-An Altered Journey Ranger Tim Holtz DVD-An Altered Journey

Reviews

There are many wonderful, simple ideas for projects in this DVD. BUT it will probably make you want to run to your favorite store for new inks and tools.

I am new at altered art and mixed media. His video was easy to understand and you visually saw exactly how it is done. I would highly recommend it to all levels of learning. BUY IT......NOW!! :)

A great addition to The Distressables books. Watch each step to the finished project. Lots of good ideas and many different techniques are shown.

***** I bought this DVD because I thought it would be much better than a class in that I could play it again and again to learn various techniques. I was right! It's a great DVD---fun, interesting, and covers everything step by step. It also repeats steps several times in different ways so that you can actually grasp the methods (although it is not boring or repetitive). There is enough explanation for a beginner like myself, but I don't think that this would be boring for an advanced stamper/crafter---much of it is creative ideas that everyone can benefit from. Some of the techniques involve expense (alcohol-based dyes, pasta machine, silk fabric, etc.) so if you have no supplies like me, it could be costly to pursue. Many of the techniques do just involve basic stamping supplies, however, and any of the projects can stand alone. If you can't afford many supplies you can improvise many ideas that you learn in various ways into your own projects. It explains craft tools as well, types of ink, etc. Most steps are shown in real time. At the end of each project there are additional examples for each technique (called mini-galleries) with variations and more ideas. There are ten projects: brushless watercolor, distressing with ink, one page books and cards, embellishments, alcohol ink agates, brayered embossing, faux batik, fragments from clay, faux soldering, "domino diary" (small book with altered domino as cover), and altered scrapbooking. Other topics explored include cards, tags, using scarps, dying fabric, clear embossing, jewelry, clay stamping, cards with wearable pins and some rudimentary bookbinding. At first I was dismayed because the DVD has a heavy focus on stamping. I'd never done stamping and thought it was pretty straight forward and limited. Did I buy the wrong DVD? Absolutely not. To my surprise I fell in love. I even purchased the next DVD in this series called "The Journey Continues with Tim Holtz". I was amazed at the range of what can be done with stamps! Special features include a gallery at the end, which is a review of all projects, with pictures of examples that are variations. Tim Holtz narrates the gallery with a monologue about altered scrapbooking, creativity, inspiration, classes, being an artist, teaching, and supplies. When you see a tip or a sample that apppeals to you, you can jump quickly and directly to the technique. This is very handy. Extras include: tips from projects all compiled in one place, metric conversions, bloopers, stamps and supplies used in projects, and info about other PageSage DVDs. SO much better than a class! Very well done, and highly recommended.

This is good stuff, particularly for the avid urban scrap booker who is bored with the "cutsy" stuff that one finds in most scrapbooks, or in the online stores. A step by step read that brings a lot of new elements and sentiments to the scrap table. I particularly enjoyed the new and different ways to use around the house or old scrap book stuff. An overall good series for those looking for ideas outside the usual comfort zone

Sweet Pea Record Book Sweet Pea Record Book

I was put off by the price many times but this book was perfect for me when I finally purchased it. Has great prompts to add info and dates for milestones (first teeth, day of school, walking, crawling, etc.) Places for a few select photos for you to attach on your own. Good family history section for both parents to list, siblings (yours), grandparents & great grandparents. All in all just what I wanted to start the baby book for my first born. Well made and looks to last!

Thsi book is the greatest. I really covers everything baby would want to know when she gets older. My warning is that you better start writing the minute you get it or you can miss important days as you get so busy when baby is born. Try to get this item before baby is born so that you can acquaint yourself with the information you will need to enter. GET IT!!! My only regret is that one day after I bought it my sister bought me one so I could have saved that cash. My sister returned it.

This is a great baby record book. The pages are so thorough and laid out so simply. I gave it to my cousin and she just loved it! I only gave it four stars because it didn't include a pouch or pocket page which I saw and liked in many other books, to keep newspaper clippings, the band from the hospital etc. Otherwise it is a great book!

This record book is fantastic. It is orange and green (looks pink & green on the web)and very cute. I liked the items it asked for - cost of various items, birth information, etc. Some babybooks have the most bizarre items they ask you to include. This one is great. I only wish I would have had this one for my first child as well.

I loved the content of the book. It is very gender neutral. So that pink side really is a orangish color. The description doesn't do it justice on the information that it collects. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Carters B Is For Boy Record Book Carters B Is For Boy Record Book

At first glance I was very pleased with this purchase and even began filling out the initial pages. It asked tons of questions which I loved. I wanted a book that would keep all those memories that I am sure to forget. After looking more closely though, I was disappointed to discover that this book does not have section for monthly updates for the first year. This is something that was a must for me. I want to be able to document what's going on with my little guy at 4 months, 5 months, and so on. Because of this, I purchased another baby record book. It was by Carter's as well, but it is the "Child of Mine - Baby Boy Memory Book". It does have pages for monthly updates. Hope this helps!

There is not much to say about this product except that all the pages have very nice info to fill about both parents and their families. The images and decoration throughout follow a typical sports/boy kind of look and feel. The finish and details of the product is just great! Very recommended.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Perfect for parents not wanting to jot down every bitty detail, but include the specials "firsts" and capture it with pictures. The book begins with giving info about mommy and daddy, then about the shower, leading up to the birth. The main parts include areas for "firsts," such as teeth, words, laughs, walk, and holidays. The last part of the book devotes a page for ages 2-4 to record a picture and what some favorites were during that time.

Really nice baby book...lots of pages! It was the only baby book I could find with some type of sports theme. I just wish it didn't cost me $25!

This book was a gift for our Daughter and Son in law, who just had a baby. It was perfect, and recieved very promptly. Thankyou very much.

Carter's Smileyhappy Baby Book Carter's Smileyhappy Baby Book

Reviews

This book is good and has lots of room for pics. I got it for a second baby and I would recommend it more for a first baby as it has pages for a baby shower and just more events and little things that maybe you don't recall the second time around but obsess on with the first kid. A con of the book is that all the spaces for pictures are horizontal so vertical pics look weird when you put them in. Otherwise cute, thorough book with lots of pages.

This is a super cute book and very detailed. I love the descriptions you are asked to write like Mommy and Daddy's best friends and hobbys. I has a lot of space for pictures and extras, the only thing I wish it had were some pockets to store loose items. I figure I will make some on the many blank pages provided in the back of the book.

WE have this book for our first son and are buying one for our second child. Very complete with a few pages for pregnancy and plenty of pages for pictures. It was the most complete book I could find with just about every first you could think of without being overly ridiculous about details you could never keep up with.

I am very happy with this book. The only thing I would prefer is if it were a binder so I could add and remove pages. It's well made and has lots of cool stuff inside.

I had been looking for a baby book that was cute and simple. When I saw the Smileyhappy Baby Book, I was a little scared to buy it sight unseen, but the Carter reputation and the cute raised giraffe was enough for me to take the chance. What a cute little book! It has the themed pages, but it is all simple and cute and leaves the mood up to the parents. I love some of the questions. How thoughtful and thorough.

This silicone skin/cover for the ProvoCraft Gypsy, Gypsy Protective Silicone Skin, Black is a great accessory for the Cricut Gypsy. It gives the Gypsy protection and a little cushion and it's cute. Of all the colors available, I prefer the black one. It looks most like the Gypsy itself and it's attractive but not too child-like or flashy. This product, in my opinion is maybe for an Epson printer. When you try to configue it for any other brand, it is not happy. It is very difficult to deal with. if you have he patience, however, it is worth thetrouble.

This has been well worth the money. It is a program that is easy to use and the results are beautiful. I put together a book full of memories for our 1st wedding anniversary. I have purchased more since then. They make great personalized gifts for everyone. I love this product.

to make your own memory book. I was able to make one and change some factors to personalize it, easily. I bought another to make for another gift.

After my Mother passed away, I wanted a way to create some sort of a tribute to her I could share with my family. I had ordered a new epson printer and this product came free with it. I spent the requisite time reading and experimenting with it. My first attempts worked wonderfully, which left me with the extra book cover and sheets. Due to the sober concept of the book, I used no captions or titles, which the product allowed. This is not MS Publisher, and isn't intended to be that type of a product. It IS a product that allows you to import photo's, do some touching up and minor cropping, and leaves you with a very professionally hardbound book of memories. I am ordering a couple more now to send to other family members. Bruce D. Meyer

I used the StoryTeller Photo Book to create a keepsake of a family reunion and visit to see my new niece. The StoryTeller Photo Book was very easy to use and created a near-professional looking product. It included simple photo correction capability, wonderful layout templates, and everything you need to make a book in a few hours or more. The long cover and 8x10 pages printed perfectly on my HP Photosmart 2610 printer. I gave the book to my mother and she absolutely loved it. It is a much better than a photo album for displaying photos. However, the software is somewhat limiting. Even though the book styles and artistic layouts are good, it would be great to have more variety. You cannot limit the number of photos in a given layout or resize the area of a picture on a page. If you need full artistic control, you may find this frustrating. As others have mentioned, you must buy the software along with the book materials for each new project. Limitations notwithstanding however, I intend to buy a few more and then wait for product improvements.
